Patna to Get Astro Park: A Fun Way for Children to Learn Science

Patna, August 21.
An innovative science park is taking shape in Bihar’s capital, Patna. An Astro Park is being developed inside the Patna Planetarium campus, with the aim of making science education simple, engaging, and interactive for children. The park will feature several scientific models and exhibits designed to spark curiosity among young learners.

A Blend of Learning and Entertainment

The highlight of this Astro Park will be its interactive science models, where children can learn complex concepts through fun and hands-on experiences. Around 10 to 11 interactive exhibits are being set up, allowing kids to understand scientific principles while playing and experimenting.

Exploring the Universe in a Fun Way

The park will also showcase fascinating aspects of the universe and astronomy in a creative manner. For instance, one model will demonstrate how people in ancient times used the shadow of the sun to tell time. Similar engaging experiments will help children learn science through direct observation and interaction.

Equipped with Modern Technology

To make the Astro Park more attractive and advanced, modern equipment is being sourced from Kolkata. The civil work of the project has already been completed, and the remaining construction is progressing rapidly. Officials said the park is expected to be opened to the public soon.
